The Treasurer's Office collects current real, personal and motor vehicle taxes and oversees their disbursement to the County government, Municipalities, Public Schools and special taxing districts of Oconee County. The Treasurer's office also maintains records of revenues collected by these entities for financial reporting to various County and State offices.
Vehicle renewal notices are mailed around the 10th of the month prior to the month they are due. If you do not have your renewal notice by the 15th of the month for which they are due, please contact our office.

Please note, payments made online may take up to 48 hours to process. After payment is processed receipts and/or decals with vehicle registration will be mailed within 7 - 10 business days. If you have sold or traded your vehicle or transferred the license plate please make sure you are paying on the correct vehicle.
