Military ID Card:

You are eligible to receive a military ID if you are a military retiree or are currently serving in the military (active duty, Guard, Reserve, or Inactive Ready Reserve). Certain dependents are eligible for dependent ID cards as well. You and your dependents must be entered in the DEERS system.

You can obtain your ID at a local military base or from:

Veterans Health Identification Card:

This card is available to military veterans who are eligible for VA health care benefits and can be obtained from a VA clinic.

You do not need to have a service-connected disability to be eligible to receive VA health care benefits. Eligibility is based on active duty service in the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy or Merchant Marines(WWII) who have an other than dishonorable discharge and meet certain income guidelines. Former members of the Reserves and National Guard may be eligible if they were activated under Federal Executive Orders (this generally excludes activation for training purposes).

Please contact our office to set up an appointment and see if you are eligible for health care benefits.

Veterans ID Card (VIC):

One of the most common questions we receive comes from veterans who are looking to get a veteran ID card that proves their military service.

To be eligible veterans must have received an honorable discharge.

These cards cannot be used for VA benefits, to access military installations or to receive other military or veterans benefits.
