Van Information

The veteran is ultimately responsible for his or her transportation to VA medical appointments.
There are a couple of options for the veteran to get to their medical appointments:
  • The veterans can drive themselves or have a family member or friend drive them. If they qualify, the VA will reimburse them for travel expenses.
  • Call our office to schedule an appointment on our van.
Transportation to Greenville VA Clinic is every Thursday morning.
If you have an appointment in Columbia please call, our office ASAP as all pickups for that Thursday will need to be scheduled with an earlier pickup time to allow catching the 7:30 shuttle to DORN.
A word of caution must be observed. If a Veteran uses the County Transportation at no cost, the Veteran cannot legally request travel funds from the VA. That action is an act of fraud and is being closely monitored by the VA. Lists of Veteran riders are provided to the respective VA Medical Center.

Volunteer Drivers:

Our drivers are volunteers looking to give back to our Veteran's and we are always looking for others to join us. You do not need to be a Veteran to be a volunteer driver.

If interested in becoming a volunteer driver please contact our office to get the process started.
